The Power of Wee

There's a lemon tree in our garden, which I planted a year or so ago. A couple of months ago, it was looking a bit pale and sad. But Lily's potty training has turned it around. We sometimes pour the wee on its roots and it has now sprung back to life. The grass around it is twice as long as the rest of the grass. It's a miracle!

Snails

I have a huge veggie patch in my garden I have peas and potatoes coming and a huge sweetcorn and tomato crop is expected. It's something I wanted when we moved over.

I had to massacre the snails though - they were eating all my peas and brocolli. I lifted up a board and there were about 12 huddled together. So I picked up the spade and hit them, again and again. I was blinded by a mixture of disgust and rage. Once I started I couldn't stop; the horror! I learned a lot about myself that day. Now I kill them with impunity.

I have become a monster.
